(For Gas Heaters) Do you see the pilot flight on inside the water heater lit? You should be able to see a blue flame through a small ‘window’ at the bottom of the heater. If the flame has gone out, take these steps to re-ignite it.
Look for instructions on the water heater. Almost all of them will have detailed instructions and different water heaters are designed differently so it is best if you follow the instructions directly.
Is there some hot water but it is just isn’t hot enough?
Check the water heater temperature dial. It should be on the middle setting. Do NOT turn it all the way to max as this could scald you.
