I have concerns on my garage door-what should I do?

If your garage door won’t open or close at all
Make sure the opener is plugged in
Check the circuit breaker
Check that there are there batteries in the remote
Make sure the remote is programmed properly. Every garage door brand functions slightly differently so it’s advised you look up the brand and model number for detailed instructions. If your garage door remote is missing or faulty, you can pick up a universal remote from Home Depot.
If your garage door won’t open or close properly
Make sure the sensors are aligned
If the light is red or off the sensors aren’t lined up properly. Slide them up and down to make sure both lights are on and neither are red
check motor for brand
If there’s an emergency and you need to manually open it,
Pull the safety lever down to disengage the latch so you can manually open and close the door
